Removing/replacing varnish is not really an option, as it is the cornerstone of our hosting and the reason (as you mention) of site(s) speed/performance.
If you provide an example of how we can reproduce what is not working, we can check if there is a fix that we can implement across the platform.

Mike, to move wp-config outside the public folder, please check:
https://support.cloudways.com/securing-application-configuration-files-in-private_html-folder/As for allow_url_fopen, tagging this as server settings addition.

Thanks for your feedback Fernando.
We believe focus is key to success and currently we are extremely focused on linux stacks and PHP, so not an option to get into Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

@feral13
In our testing, with various wordpress sites we have found Objects cache set to apc performs better than of using database cache, perhaps it is something related to the site specific plugin or some other setting that causes slowness in admin panel
I'm unable to find your email address as registered account, if you could provide us your email address or server/site details then we can look into this for you.You can create ticket with the details through our support panel.

Can you develop further?
You would like each of your customer to have their own account and pay directly to us for services but then you would like to be able to link these accounts to your main CW account so you could manage them?

Can you give us an example on how you would use this within the context of Cloudways service?

By now we have created this blog post on how to deploy it over base php stack:
http://www.cloudways.com/blog/how-to-install-piwik-analytics-wordpress/We will later on consider adding it as a standalone application if we see enough pull.

You can add funds via paypal in any case.
You can create a ticket to switch post-payment method from CC to Paypal (as said, few requirements need to be met - history with us, volume ...).

We recently released add funds feature:
https://support.cloudways.com/entries/87716928-How-do-I-add-funds-to-my-account-You can add funds via Paypal or CC.
Create a ticket if you want to switch your post-paid method to Paypal. Sales team will check if out and change it if possible.
We plan to add Bitcoin as a payment method (post-paid, funds) very shortly.

You can easily achieve this via the Dump and Import features of the Click&Go Mysql Manager from console. We think that this should be enough for most cases.

For this we would really advice to use separate servers for each customers. Smaller servers (512MB) are quite small and appropriate for single / not busy sites. Most of our agency like customers are solving this issues like this having as extra benefits, isolation between customers, much more control on resources usage ...

You know that by now we support git:
https://support.cloudways.com/entries/69615887-Using-Git-for-Deployment-Which implementation we plan to improve.
By now there are no set plans for subversion but leaving this open to see what other users think about it.

Pere here, CTO at CW. Thanks for your idea and this is in fact a very good one. We try to add new cloud providers that can add some distinctive value over the providers we have already in the list. AWS the king, DO cheap and reliable servers, testing currently Elastichosts auto-scaling containers and a green cloud provider would fit adding another angle. So will definitely consider it.
