At the moment we have Server level local backups. This is great however if we only have one application that needs backing up, it is quite wasteful on resources/diskspace/time to have to backup all the files on a server just to download a single application backup.
Could we perhaps have an option be able to take backups on application level - similar to the server level option? It then give us a zip with the files/database - simple!1 vote
Our platform supports the ability to backup a specific application only.
You can learn more about it here: https://support.cloudways.com/en/articles/5123364-how-to-backup-a-specific-application
I suggest to add the posibility to edit the admin panel fields like url, username and password, because in my particular case i registered my wordpress with default configurations, but later i changed the admin panel from "wp-admin" to a white label url, so at this moment i can't to edit that information on my cloudways panel.
I really want to use cloudways, it is ideal in every other way except for the fact I can't use supervisor to run the Craft CMS job queue.
The frustrating thing is that supervisor is available and ready to use for laravel. All it would take would be to allow you to add 'craft queue/listen' as a job.
This would go hand in hand with this request: https://cloudways.uservoice.com/forums/203824-service-improvement/suggestions/9592845-add-craft-cms-as-new-supported-application
I think you would see a major uptake if you had decent Craft CMS support.2 votes

Hello team, pushing and pulling individual tables and folders between staging and the live environment is better compared to transferring the entire database or files. Because in Woocommerce, pushing the database might lead to loss of orders made in between.16 votes
Every hosting provider I have used allowed me to create as many email addresses as I wanted without an extra cost.
At the moment, I need to pay for two servers because on your server I need to pay monthly for each email account. I have one server with you (I host my websites on it), and the other with another company (I host on it the email addresses for these sites.
Could you make my and other life easier by adding an option in the app console for creating and hosting email accounts?37 votes
As other users pointed, we have partnered with Rackspace to offer mailboxes at a very discounted rate (best pricing for very reliable Rackspace Email mailboxes that you will find anywhere).
More information here:
We don’t have plans to support deploying mailboxes on our servers as we see email as a completely different service than web hosting, that is what we are trying to be very good at.
It would be nice to have Craft CMS (www.buildwithcraft.com) support built in.26 votes
To me not having a white-label Cloudways application is absolutely of no concern. The only concern I have (because I offer clients managed Wordpress hosting) is the fact that the application-url is not white-label. If only I could have my brand name in stead of Cloudways I am done.0 votes
This is now fully supported on Cloudways platform.
Laravel has released it new version (5.4) . As a leading laravel hosting player cloudways need to update it as quick as possible3 votes

Would it be possible to have the php7.0-zip module installed by default when installing Wordpress or PHP Stack Applications? Some WP plugnis and other PHP testing variables require this option.1 vote
I would like being able to give someone access to a single database throw MySQL Workbench without having to send him the master credentials that could be used to access all the server files throw SFTP.1 vote
This is already possible. If you use Workbench with master credentials, you will have access to all DBs for all apps in the server.
If you instead use application credentials (https://support.cloudways.com/difference-between-master-credentials-and-application-credentials/), you will have just access to the database of that specific app.
Hope this helps.
The only way to publish a Cronjob for laravel is through assistance. I wish u fix it.4 votes
If what you want is to run Laravel Artisan commands such as:
> php artisan schedule:run
> php artisan route:clear
You can do so from the advanced cron editor, so long as you run the command from inside the public_html directory where artisan is found. For example, we have tested with:
> * * * * * cd public_html && php artisan route:clear > /tmp/artisan.log
And it works fine.
Let us know if this fixes your needs.
Pls update composer (sudo composer self-update)4 votes
Composer is now auto-updated on deployment (so new servers get latest version) and recurring updates happening bi-weekly automatically.
