We made long ago the decision to use adminer against phpmyadmin. This is not going to change in the short term.

Adminer is truly bad, and makes it very hard to do everyday database work. I can't be alone thinking that a continuously updated phpMyAdmin installation would be vastly better. This has been and still is my main gripe with Cloudways, except one other thing that I'll post about separately.
