This could be solved if cloudways just sent the user an email upon signup. As of now we have to contact sales. Imagine being a web dev setting up hosting for a client. That'd be so annoying.
Okay! Your site is ready to go we just need to get you an account set up and then set up your server / site! Okay. So sign up. All right now let's wait on sales here. What's that the chat feature is having issues? Sales is offline? I know I scheduled this call and you set aside time but I guess we'll have to do this tomorrow so a human can manually verify your account.
What a pain. It'd be way better if you got an email upon sign up and could verify via link and then provide the info cloudways wants in a form and just move on.
Right now we have to setup the account ourselves and ask sales to verify the account on our client's behalf. Then the email goes to the client which we have to explain about before hand rather than while we go through the setup making more contact we have to do and more times we have to annoy the client.. Then we have to give the password to the client letting them know we know their password which scares the less tech savvy ones who don't realize right away it can be changed.
It would be so much more streamlined if we could just bypass sales when signing up. I mean it is kind of an okay process because I have access to the account and can get the site up and test it before I call the client but it's still a pain.
