Restricted access to FTP users
You CloudWays have a feature to create new access for Appilcation. But there should be an option to give limited access. For example I have 5 folders in /applications/uhspstmcyh/publichtml application. I have a created a new application credential, I want that user should have access to only one folder which is /applications/uhspstmcyh/publichtml/area
This feature is not available at the moment.

In the Home pane, double-click the FTP IPv4 Address and Domain Restrictions icon. In the FTP IPv4 Address and Domain Restrictions feature, click Edit Feature Settings in the Actions pane. A new window will pop up, allowing you to select Allow or Deny. Select Deny and click Ok. https://get-shareit.com
A very interesting topic that I have considered, I think this is one of the most important information for me. And I'm glad to read your article. Thanks for sharing!
This is critical for one of our applications to receive files via FTP. It should be simple to do.

Hear! Hear! This is a critical control panel feature that has to be in place. It is mind boggling that it does not exist as a feature. Come on Cloudways... So much great stuff and you overlook something this simple?
