I would leave cloudways soon as it is not helping me with installing Mailwizz emails sending script.
A small change, which requires root privilages for a script to run at cloudways server is not possible. Support is not helpful at all in doing that change by himself. This is simply not acceptable.

We explain why we don't allow root access to our servers in this KB:
We understand this can create frustration in some cases, but it is critical for us to be able to keep a standardized network (impossible to manage thousands of servers otherwise) and doing custom changes to specific customer servers goes against it. We listen to customer needs, and in case they are generic enough and enough people wants it, then we add whatever is needed to the network.
I would suggest you to create an idea asking to offer an option to deploy it via Server Settings ... and gather support from other customers with the same needs.
