Multi-tier (more than one server for my application, load balancer, web servers, database server...)
I would love to have the option of setting up a multi-server application for more targeted and cost effective scaling. For instance, Say I could create a Wordpress site with a dedicated DB server, a dedicated load balancer, and a dedicated Web server. As my site grows, I can scale the specific part that is needed. If my site is gets a lot of views (reads), but doesn't make many writes, scaling my existing web server (or adding another instance) may be what's needed. If I'm running a WooCommerce site and start pushing the limits of my db server, increasing the resources or implementing replication might make more sense. It would be really great to have that level of control when growing a site.

I completely agree with the following comment of Jonathan and I believe that this possibility of mirroring-replication of server-applications will pave the way for the cloudways to play at a greater level and with an even greater advantage
It would be a first step if it could give us the ability and guidance to try some replication of databases on the same server or elsewhere.

Not having this feature means I don't host any larger sites on Cloudways. It's not robust enough, and forces the user into getting increasingly large servers when it would make more sense (cost and performance wise) to have two smeller dedicated DB and Application servers, instead of one large one that's trying to handle MySQL requests, along with everything else on the server stack.
I imagine Cloudways is losing potential clients and sales due to this limitation.

Plus 1. Just looked at the managed DBs from DO (https://www.digitalocean.com/products/managed-databases/). Would be great if this could be easily integrated!

Time to scale out. So we are looking for clustering options for Maria db. Galleria?

Yes, this feature is basically missing from CloudWays. They support scale-up so you can upgrade to the next best thing (higher spec server, etc), but not scale-out yet for a tiered design i.e. 3-tier application. This way you can scale just the web application layer or the database or other components as needed as you grow your business.
This should be the number one goal for 2020 and judging from the likes, it's the most requested feature. Make it happen!
