1. Improved mysql manager with search and replace functionality

   The current administrator is fast and lightweight but it needs a little more functionality. For example it would be nice to have a "search" option within a table and once you get the result set to have the option to modify, delete, etc. Currently if you want to modify the record 10.000 in a table you have to display up to that record and then you get the option to modify it. If you do a query to list only your record 10.000 there is no option to modify it. Yes, it can all be done with queries... but that is not the point, the mysql administrator should give an easy way to make quick changes to the DB.

2. Set WordPress app database collation to uft8_general_ci instead of latin1_swedish_ci

   When installing a new WP app, the database collation is set to latin1swedishci. It should be utf8generalci. Just change the way the app installer works, to set it to the correct setting when installing a new WP app. Also consider adding the collation to the new WP install's wp-config.php file to help keep all tables using the correct collation: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Database_collation.

   We've started to see some issues on some sites due to mixed table collation. This would help prevent issues by keeping everything on compatible variations of utf8.

3. fail2ban

   I was wondering if fail2ban was available on cloudways instances. I would love managing login attempts and throttling bots with it.
   This could even be integrated in the console at application level.

   I know I can do this with WordFence and others, but it's so much more efficient. Doing this kind of thing with WP plugins is so inefficient, it still require PHP processes.

   While not replacing a full DDoS and WAF service, this is probably still a good affordable and efficient protection and I have the feeling that is being already used for handling ssh login attempts.

4. Use Zeroclipboard instead of flash for the "click-to-copy" functionality

   just a request - on the application dashboard, you have all the usernames and passwords for various things (DB, Admin, SFTP, SSH). All of these use flash - it is very hard to use this on Linux machines. Please use what Github uses - Zeroclipboard. See how easily you can copy paste the "SSH Clone URL" on the right side of github: https://github.com/z…om/zeroclipboard/zeroclipboard . it will be massively useful for people like me

6. Option to DELETE account quickly

   As I said, what I am suggesting here is a quick way to properly CLOSE/DELETE an account.

7. Drupal secure on install

   Please could you find a way to keep up-to-date with Drupal core security updates (eg. current 7.38 has a critical security flaw). It's a PITA to get a security email immediately on install and have to go in and update. Isn't there a way to pull the latest secure core as part of your install process?

8. Add a text option for 2 factor authentication

   The 2 factor authentication is a great feature! You might even get more users on board if there could be an option to receive a text instead of a message through Google Authenticator (ease of use).

10. Need more accurate IP in piwik

    The default IP is not very accurate as it uses the browser language to guess the location of users. Piwik needs to install something in the backend to allow access to maxmind database so we can get more accurate IP. So I hope you can install that.

11. Trial Account expires after deleting a server

    I was setting up a trial account to evaluate Cloudways. I created a server on DigitalOcean, but noticed only after creation that the default location was set to London.

    Being in the US, I wanted to recreate it in the SF or NY zone. So I clicked to delete the server.

    Immediately after deleting, I was presented with a message stating that my 14-day trial account was now expired... just minutes in.

    I'm fine with a one server limit, but I would expect that to be limited to one simultaneous instance.

    In lieu of that, it would have been nice to have been warned that the action of deleting the server was going to terminate my trial.

    Another option would be rephrase "14-Day Trial" to something more accurate. Like "Limited Trial" or "Take a Test Drive". Then be really clear that the trial account is limited to a single instance of a single server, up to 14 days.

    It would have also been a great thing if I could have linked my existing DigitalOcean account to Cloudways. I didn't have that option, but I did read an article explaining why Cloudways doesn't allow this.

    Ultimately, I was unable to evaluate the service. Since I would not be able to use my existing infrastructure even if I did have a chance to try Cloudways, probably for the best and I'll move on.

12. Add an option to configure Output Buffering (output_buffering) for php under Server settings and Packages

    It would be nice to be able to configure Output Buffering (outputbuffering) for php and apply it server wide. Joomla Recommends turning Off outputbuffering for full compatibility. It is a better option to have this capability than to create a custom php.ini file and then uploading it to each and every application that needs it.

13. Need a re seller account to manage multiple clients accounts and servers

    I am a website developer and have 25+ sites to host
    Most are on wordpress, and range across a ton of different hosts right now. (greengeeks, justhost, hostgator and so on).
    I'm looking to add the hosting element as a service to my clients, instead of simply reaping the affiliate commissions as I end up managing everything via CPanel anyways

    Hi,

    Could you possibly add support for PHPEd? It's one of the most popular PHP development IDEs. It has its own debugger extension as described here: http://www.nusphere.com/kb/technicalfaq/howto_install_dbg_module.htm

16. Better New Relic Alerts

    The New Relic Alert email messages sent by the system are not helpful.

    The messages reference an application ID such as 'wordpress-000-00000-00000.cloudwaysapps.com.' This does me no good at all. I have more than a dozen servers, many of which have multiple apps.

    Without going into each individual server and checking the cloudwaysapps addresss for each of its apps, I have no way of knowing which app is actually generating this error. These errors need to provide two pieces of additional information to be useful 1) the name of the server, and 2) the name of the app. In both cases, these names should be the ones I set for the server or app.

17. Allow to change server time zone

    Allow to change server timezone.
    Please to allow customer to change the servertimezone.
    I have difficulties to make cronjob, because there is different time between php & server time. I have cronjob to generate/update report in magento for every 5 minutes, then send it in end of day (around 23:xx). But, since the server time is different the report actually not complete & different with Magento report. please consider this.

19. How to setup the sender mail for each website, please?

    I am using Gmail SMTP for current server, which related email is sinoceo@hotmail.com.

    Now I am testing Magento website, which when customer place order or signup, the Magento will send related email to the customer but the sender always is honestyplus@gmail, which is our Gmail account for Gmail SMTP. But we need the sender if what we setup, such as info@thumbpackaging.com for thumbpackaging.com website. So how we should setup, please? I believe it's related with the server because I am also using other server from Knownhost.com, which we launched many websites and the sender both are different according to the website, do you understand what I mean, please?

    Does the Gmail SMTP can't setup for that? If we buy your SMTP, does it will be ok, please?
