  1. Default wordpress config

    Please consider modifying the default wordpress wp-config file to include. I have had to manually add that to every install so that visitor IP's are showing up correctly.

    if ( isset( $SERVER[ "HTTPXFORWARDEDFOR" ] ) ) {
    $SERVER[ 'REMOTEADDR' ] = $SERVER[ "HTTPXFORWARDEDFOR" ];
    }

  2. Wildcard or Regex support for Breeze "Never Cache these URLs"

    I have a site with a number of dynamic "areas" that are not displaying/refreshing correctly due to caching. One primary area of the site is an online LMS (Learning Management System) made up of multiple lessons, topics, and quizzes. I could list each URL individually, however, it would be well over a 100 just to get started, and would also require me to continue updating the list of URLs as I continue to add new content/lessons, etc.

    Ideally, I could enter in a relative url with a wildcard or utilize regex to not cache all URLs matching the pattern, such…

  3. Disable CORS within Cloudways CDN when using WP Rocket

    I have talked extensively with WP Rocket and it seems that they use CORS within their plugin. However, Cloudways also has CORS enabled within its CDN service. This causes conflict on most sites and if a conflict occurs when both services are enabled, CORS needs to be disabled on the Cloudways CDN to fix the conflict. I purpose that you include this information within your WP Rocket tutorial: https://support.cloudways.com/how-to-configure-wp-rocket-plugin-wordpress/?utmsource=Platformkb&utmmedium=kbsearch

    Thanks

  7. Breeze cache plugin - Add CloudFlare support

    CloudFlare works on it's own, but they're not always good at refreshing their cache automatically, so we sometimes need to do it manually. That's why integration would be great (which the people at WP Rocket obviously also thought and therefore implemented integration so people and their plugin can trigger a CloudFlare cache refresh).

    With CloudFlare integration the "Purge All Cache" dropdown menu item in Wordpress would clear both Breeze, Varnish and CloudFlare caches.

  9. create a separate architecture for membership wordpress

    wordpress scales better with cache. but this cache is a nightmare if yours is a membership site. the members always see pages guest page loaded from cache, not there account specific page.
    so having a correct cache setup for membership site is a mandatory.

  10. Fix / improve the interface on the wordpress migrate plugin

    Currently the plugin will delete all the info from all the fields if you submit and it finds an error. In the UX world, this is considered undiluted evil. Why is the plugin punishing me?

    Furthermore, the UX writing is profoundly unclear. The field marked "application folder" is actually for the MYSQL database name. Who would ever figure that out?

    If you really want to make it good, don't force the user to enter any of this stuff. Just make an "export settings for the migration plugin" button. It can create a key code that includes all the settings. Copy,…

  11. Breeze cache plugin - pls add CDN origin pull/push

    The new caching plugin works great. It supports CDN but it doesn't support adding the files to CDN (origin pull/push) - it relies this is solved outside the plugin.

    Any plans to integrate this as well?

  12. Wordpress & WPSOLR integraation on Cloudways

    I see that cloud ways supports elastic press plugin on wordpress after activating ES on server side. Yet, there is another plugin that has much better functionalities named WPSOLr.
    When I tried to use it, it requires ES v 5.0+ (with mapper attachments plugin) or SOLR on the server. Now Cloudways have option of ES 5.4, but mapper attachments plugin not there, and we can't install it due to root access.Due to that, I had to use outside hosts just to host my ES/SOLR index $40per month.
    I would suggest that cloudwaays provide the mapper attachments plugin to ES5.4 or…

  13. Have a dedicated WordPress team

    I like the Wordpress teams for the managed WordPress hosting on the other hosting platforms like WP Engine, etc. I think that would be cool here. Pick the server that best suits your need and have a WordPress guru team supporting the best CMS out there.

  14. Update the Documentation on W3 Total Cache

    It's creating lot of login issue most of the time, causing de-activation of plugin for most of the time.

  16. WP-CLI commands when creating an application

    Would it possible when creating a wordpress application using the CloudWays API that you can specify some WP-CLI commands that run after creation so you can install plugins and set other options with an API call? This saves having to SSH into the new application.

  17. subdomain configuration without auto adding 'www' into the database for Home URL and site URL

    subdomain configuration/assignment to an application without auto adding 'www' into the database for Home URL and site URL (in the option table). When we configure a dubdomain for an application, ex : sub.mysite.com, it writes 'www.sub.mysite.com' into the siteurl field and home filed into the Database.

  18. Implement custom caching plugin (solution) by Cloudways

    I think cloudways should come out with their own caching plugin (solution). In my case, it's specific to WP.

    The reason being, caching solution works differently from host to host, and is not one solution fits all. And plugins from time to time come out with new versions that may break lots of things, and a ton more reasons.

    As cloudways implement lots of custom stack and caching, they should also use and release updates pertaining to their install.

    Unless you have a better way, at least when a new version is released, and cloudways has already tested the version…

  19. Enable Cloudways Migrator to include migration from local host (PC) etc

    The CW migration plugin won't allow migration from local host. I understand Cloudways is used for production purposes but some people still like to develop on localhost PC etc. It would be advantageous if this restriction was fixed.
