  1. Simpler Account Verification Process

    Regarding Cloudways' account verification process, please consider changing this system. I can no longer suggest my clients to use a company that doesn't put the server online within the hour. A 24-48 hours time period to get the server online it's nonsense. You guys really need to figure out another way to do this faster and easier. Also, to send documents for account verification by email is very rudimentar, I don't see this method for account verification anywhere else. Maybe upload documents on the website? Maybe let user know how long it will actually take to get the server online?…

  2. Remove outdated documentation / support articles

    Suggest removing older version of documentation on a topic -or- refer to the newer version -or- state in the most recent version what has changed. Example: The Lets Encrypt documentation has changed. The 2018 and older version talks about having to setup a DNS _acme-challenge record. The 2019 version does not mention the need for it (I like that!). But ... which version is the correct one? One would assume the latest but we all make mistakes so clarity through simplification (remove old docs) would be appreciated! Btw, Lets Encrypt feature is great!

  5. Automatically copy symlinks from git repo

    At present if there are symlinks within a git repository they are not copied over into the project. An admin then needs to manually go into the app and recreate the symlinks. It would be great if those links were copied over automatically when pulling in a git repo.

  7. confirmatio mail

    My verification mail does not arrive, I already tried different emails, I left message on the support and nothing. They seemed like a good company, but the support is lacking, and the registration system is very bureaucratic. If you can not even activate a subscription, how can I trust that they will take good care of my site. I found it very unkind, they lost a client. It seems that they are not even interested in selling.

  8. Make it easy to switch from other providers

    I have an account with another managed service provider and I'm interested in switching to CloudWays.

    The server is Vultr, and I have quite a few sites with them. Based off chat w/ support, there is no easy way to do this.

    Since I have quite a few sites there, the level of effort to switch to CloudWays is putting me off from doing so.

    I already use CW for one of my servers, and it'd be nice to consolidate, if the migration process would be easier.

  10. Give color to the url text or background of a staging site to give a visual indication that you are working in the staging envornment

    When working in a staging environment it is difficult to know visually if you are really there. At best the only way to know currently is to remember the cloudways assigned url. I suggest that coloring the url text or background of the url yellow (or any other color) would make it easier to know what environment one is working on. I know there is a wordpress plugin that does this so if it can't be done via the url text or background maybe some other way.

  11. HOSTIDIME

    I suggest a partnership with HOSTIDIME servers because they have data centers located in Brazil, and a better price than Amazon.
    It would be a great deal to offer your South American customers.

  13. Info suggesting resources used by my website?

    Lets say I use the $10 monthly pack today. Now how do i decide if I need more resources for my website? i.e. how do I know i need $22 /month pack as my website users have increased? I think there should be an icon on dashboard where i should be shown that I am using my resources (current plan) to full capacity and will benefit from more resources...

  14. Give full access to team member, except delete server/apps

    give full access on server settings and apps to a team member
    Except - kind of obvious... - the possibility for him to delete the server (or the apps)

    Now, if we want to do this, we will be forced to go check the permission access everytime we create an app ! It's annoying/impossible

  15. redirect users back to where they were before session timeout

    As a developer, i am continously pushing changes via git deployment interface, but throughout the day my session ends and i am logged out.

    When i log back in i have to go finding my application and git screen again.

    It would be great if the cloudways interface could remember where i was when the expired session logs me out, and when i log back in it remembers then i can perform the git pull i tried to do before i was logged out.

    Or better yet an option to set my own timeout values as that kind of security…

  16. Cloudways app

    Have you considered creating a server / application management app for ios and android?

    Your interface is already pretty app-like.

    It would be great to be able to adjust basic settings and respond to monitoring issues while on the run.

  17. Migrating Server Instructions Added

    I think instructions for migrating a server shiuld be added. And especially, it should cover things like how not to make your domains names point to each other, because I had the issue that my domain names pointed to each other so when someone went to one of my sites they could see another one of my sites, and this happened during the migration. The support staff could not figure this out, and I was scared to migrate. Howvever, I was able to figure out what caused the issue by myself. And as it turns out the site IP will…

  18. Uninstall Instructions for CDN Needed

    I think there should be uninstall instructions for the CDN added, because I tried to find out how to uninstall it prior to migrating to a new server, and there was no info about it and the rep I spoke with said it should be fine to leave it on. However, when I migrated, my site broke and images didn't display properly, so I think we need uninstall instructions for uninstalling our CDNs before we decided to mirgrate to new servers. They tell us how to get the CDN on, but they never tell us how to uninstall it, and…

  19. 2GB RAM and 2 Core which is available in Digital Ocean but not in CW

    I miss having 2GB RAM and 2 Core which is available in Digital Ocean but not in Cloudways. This would be the perfect balance for my Woocommerce website.

  20. Verification information should be made more clear...

    Guys, this verification thing is not made clear enough on your website. (Yes I saw the small notification messages and information, still I somehow waited for some email, from prior hosting account experiences: "your hosting is ready, is being prepared, and so and so.") Maybe you should still send an email regarding this.

    Because "if you don't open this chatbox YOUR ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE VERIFIED and YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTHING FROM US" should be made clear enough.
